RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11: Who Wins?

I know this is the one and only blog I write every year, so here we are again.

I’ll start with this, I think I’m finally sick of ‘Drag Race’.

It’s not that it isn’t entertaining anymore, but the results seem more and more contrived each season. I mean, Vanjie had to face her boo Brook Lynn to get to the top 4; that moment was planned from the start, it had to be. Silky getting to the top 4? Totally produced, but it’s good to note Silky makes good TV. Her shenanigans got really tired just a couple of episodes in, yet, she persisted.

Will Silky win? Maybe, I think this year is a little more clear cut although I could totally see Yvie Oddly, Brook Lynn Hytes, or A’keria C. Davenport winning. At this point, I’m #TeamYvie but I could see A’Keria sneaking in and snatching it. Yes, for the first time, there will be ONE queen of color winning the competition. I just remembered the other day, Monet and Trinity tied on All-Stars 4. UGH!

By the way, the rumor mills are churning over who is coming back for All-Stars 5, which will supposedly start shooting next month. The point is, ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ is a juggernaut that doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.

Oh, your Miss Congeniality of season 11?

Nina West of course. All-Stars 5? Maybe.

That’s all I have to say about that. See you in 2020!
